The first step in an e-commerce website build is for me to understand the essence of your brand. What are you all about? What fires you up? What makes your brand and products unique? What are your goals for your e-commerce website (to sell products, services, gather data, etc)
Before I even begin a website, I start with these questions. Then we take your brand (logo, colors, textures) and combine your messaging into a beautiful, cohesive website layout.
The backend piece (perhaps the most tedious) is where I dig into your products and make sure images, product descriptions, shipping, taxes, product recommendation and so much more is in place.
