Challenge

Designing a church website comes with its own unique challenges: it needs to be both welcoming to newcomers and a helpful hub for the congregation. Resurrection Church wanted their site to go beyond simply listing service times — they wanted visitors to immediately feel the warmth, joy, and sense of belonging that comes with walking into worship on a Sunday morning. The challenge was to capture that atmosphere online in a way that felt authentic, approachable, and true to their identity.

Solution

We built a website that mirrors the church’s personality by weaving in their signature warm yellow tones and highlighting close-up, authentic photography of their community in action. This visual approach created an immediate sense of connection and friendliness. To match the tone, we developed copy that was inviting and clear — approachable without being overly flowery — so both longtime members and first-time visitors could easily engage with the content. Navigation was designed with simplicity in mind, ensuring key details like service times, ministries, and events were always easy to find.

The final design gives Resurrection a digital front door that truly reflects their heart for worship and community. Visitors are welcomed by a site that feels vibrant and genuine, with visuals and messaging that make it easy to imagine themselves attending in person. The updated church website not only strengthens outreach to new families but also provides a reliable resource for existing members, helping the church extend its ministry beyond Sunday mornings.
